Suspected bombers taste their own medicine

:::::::Two suspected suicide bombers were on
Tuesday killed by an Improvised Explosive
Device (IED) along Ali Akilu Road, Kaduna,
while on their way to an unknown
destination.
A third casualty, suspected to be a member
of the team, escaped with injuries.
The suspects were conveying the device
concealed in a television case when it
exploded before arriving at their destination.
Eyewitnesses said a commercial bus carrying
passengers narrowly escaped the explosion.
The incident, which occurred around 4.10 p.m., caused heavy traffic along the road as
security agencies cordoned off the area.
Bees took over the scene of the explosion, stinging curious people and security agents, who
rushed to the spot.
The police evacuated the bodies of the suspected persons to an unknown hospital.
Spokesperson of the state’s Police Command, Abubakar Balteh, confirmed the incident,
saying that investigation had commenced.
