EPL is back after long International break(REVIEW/PREDICT)

Remember that first weekend you didn’t see you
new girlfriend/boyfriend early on in your
relationship? Well that’s how I felt with no
Premier league on the weekend. We have only
just begun our 9 month love affair with the round
ball game for the 2012/13 season, so 10 days off
feels like an eternity.

So what’s happening on the pitch? Chelsea is
flying, City has just started to look good, and
RVP is finding the net for United. Surprisingly
West Brom and Swansea hold down Champions
league place, but that can’t live forever right?
At the other end, Southampton has played good
football for no reward and are still without a
point, while Liverpool are in the relegation zone
under new manager Brendan Rodgers.

We are still early doors for the season, so this
week I’ll try and make some bold predictions. If
that fails, you will see my regular review next
week, if it goes well who knows.

Norwich (15) v West Ham (7)
Norwich is winless, and will most likely remain
that way. West Ham will be looking for Andy
Carroll to open his scoring account. Expect a
tight game in the early Saturday kick off with
West Ham scoring a late winner.
@bhadoosky says: West Ham 2-1

Arsenal (8) v Southampton (20)
Can’t get much tougher for Southampton on their
re-entry to the top flight, two Manchester teams
and a trip to the Emirates in the first month.
Expect the Saints to be rooted to the foot of the
table at the end of the weekend. Lucas Podolski
is starting to find the back of the net for the
gunners, and will most likely continue that trend
@bhadoosky says Arsenal 2-0

Aston Villa (17) v Swansea (2)
Call me crazy, but I think Villa will be tough to
beat at home. Swansea has been nothing short
of brilliant so far, but the International break
couldn’t have come at a worse time. It’s been
hard times at Aston Villa, and things won’t
improve quickly. Villa has been struggling of
late, but should manage to take a point from
there Swansea campaign.
@bhadoosky says DRAW 1-1

Fulham (11) v West Brom (3)
Fulham have managed some great signings over
the summer, but none bigger than final day
signing Dimitar Berbatov. Although lacking
match fitness expect the professional bench
warmer to have an impact against West Brom
this week. Fans of the Baggies have been
treated to some great football so far this season,
but should be happy with an away point this
week.
@bhadoosky says DRAW 2-2

Manchester United (5) v Wigan (9)
Goal fest alert, set the IQ United should have a
day out against Wigan. Wigan will be hoping my
prediction is way off the mark, as goal difference
might play its part on the final Sunday of the
season. Expect to see Sir Alex play his usual
team selection tricks taking advantage of
playing against some weaker opposition
@bhadoosky says United 4-0

QPR (19) v Chelsea (1)
Before Chelsea ran into Falcao and his merry me
they were flying. QPR have been their usual
selves, promising everything but delivering
nothing. Languishing 19 on the table, I can’t
see much movement for QPR. At least
Southampton play Arsenal to stay bottom. What
odds on a Torres hat trick?
@bhadoosky says Chelsea 3-1

Stoke (12) v Manchester City (4)
Stoke is one of the hardest road trips in the land,
and City won’t be handed any favours. Stoke
have build a fortress at the Britannia, and will
further enhance their reputation if they can hold
the champions. Lately city have found that
untied knack of scoring late in the match, can
they do it again?
@bhadoosky says City 2-1

Sunderland (13) v Liverpool (19)
Will Sunderland’s stadium shed some light on
the managerial career of Brendan Rodgers?
Liverpool don’t know what the relegation zone is,
but find themselves condemned to the wrong
end of the table. Sunderland is hard to beat at
home, but may just fall to a desperate Liverpool
team. This should be a good watch.
@bhadoosky says Liverpool 3-2

Reading (16) v Tottenham (14)
We are only 2 games in but the signs aren’t great
for new boys Reading. Luck (or lack of it) plays a
large part in the relegation battle and running
into a Tottenham team that need to win is never
good. If Europe is still on the agenda for Spurs,
they cannot drop points to Reading this
weekend.
@bhadoosky says Tottenham 2-0

Everton (6) v Newcastle (10)
The toughest game of the weekend, and one that
should light up my twitter feed. Newcastle has
hardly been impressive and faces a tough task
against Moyes and his team at home. Everton
were disappointing against West Brom last start,
and the rejuvenated squad will be looking to
bounce back.
@bhadoosky says Newcastle 2-1
