Olusola Saraki is dead.
The old politician gave up
early on Wednesday in
Lagos.
Saraki who was fondly
referred to as “Oloye”
bestrode the political arena of Kwara State like a
colossus for decades and until recently, he was the
godfather who determined who got what as far as
politics in Kwara was concerned. He was 79 years
old.
His son and former Governor of Kwara State,
Senator Bukola Saraki could not be reached on
phone, his media assistant, Akintoba Fatigun
however confirmed Oloye’s demise.
As of the time of filing this report, his body was
laready being moved to Ilorin as burial has been
slated for 4 pm.
