Swedish Government Hosts Honorable Dapo Lam-Adesina

Honourable Member Representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency at the 8th National Assembly, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina is presently in Sweden as a Guest of the Swedish Government.  

The 5 day Programme with the theme “The Swedish Model – Accountability, Welfare State and Social Contract Delivery” is aimed at connecting the Federal Lawmaker with Swedish colleagues to inspire future collaborations.

He has had the opportunity to alredy meet Partners from the Swedish Parliament,Swedish Institute and The Swedish Tax Agency.

He is scheduled to also be meeting Partners from a number of other organizations such as the: Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, The Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society and more.

 

The Young Politician was singled out of 360 Legislators that make up the Green Chamber because of his proven track record of astute management, diligence, innovation and dynamism in Leadership capacity as portrayed in his terms as Commissioner in Oyo State Ministry of Youth & Sports and later the Ministry of Industry, Applied Science and Technology in the Administration of Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

 

This is the first time the Government of Sweden would be identifying with a Nigerian Lawmaker as a key partner in the Scandinavian history. An envious feat which signals the attainment of greater heights, progressive and productive networks which would be highly beneficial not only to the people of Ibadan North East /South East Federal Constituency but Nigeria as a whole.

The Swedish Institute and the Swedish Embassy while noting the choice of Dapo Lam Adesina reiterated that the endeavor to promote an exchange and dialogue about how accountability and social contract delivery can help create public participation and increased quality of life prompted the initiative.
