#AiicoPension Managers Limited hosts North Central Pension Desk Officers & Retiree Forum
In line with AIICO
Pension Managers Limited’s plan to improve the quality of its services, and to continuously keep our clients up-to-date with
information, an enlightenment forum was organized for our esteemed Pension Desk
Officers (PDOs) in Abuja on the 16th of September, 2015. Our esteemed PDOs from organisations in and
around the Abuja axis were invited and the level of participation by way of Q
& A and the feedback received gave credence to the
quality of enlightenment received by participants.
The event came to a close with a prayer from Mr. Anube a Retiree from Police Service Commission from Benue State. APML’s Regional Controller (North), Mr. Sani Mustapha, gave the vote of thanks and closing remarks.
The Managing Director of AIICO
Pension Managers Limited (APML) Mr.EguarekhideLonge, welcomed participants to the
forum and stated that the event was organized as part of APML’s resolve to
continuously satisfy and respond to the yearnings of our clients, especially
the PDOs who are the drivers of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) processes in their various
organizations. According to the MD, part
of the reason why this Forum was organized is to engage the PDOs on the
challenges they face in discharging their duties and also to ensure that both
the PDOs and APML are on the same page.
Participants were enlightened on
various issues including the use of the Electronic Pension Contribution Collection
System (EPCCOS) for seamless remittance of pension contributions, updates on
the Benefit Administration processes; updates on new guidelines issued by PenCom and general challenges
encountered by PDOs and RSA holders.
Barr. Ezon, the PDO at the Nigerian
Security & Civil Defence Corps, on behalf of other PDO's thanked the
management of APML for putting the forum together and promised to ensure that
all that was discussed and explanations proffered will impact on their
respective jobs as PDOs and to the satisfaction of the pension industry.

after the PDO Forum with the welcome address from the Managing Director.
